Hi George,

The peach wine I made from the puree has a really good taste and is nearly ready to bottle.  I will be ordering a corker near the end of this month to enable me to bottle it.  The color is a clear gold.  You can bet there will be more of the peach puree in a future order.

The blueberry wine from puree is doing nicely as well.  It has an excellent taste and is clearing very well.  The lees are very deep from the solids in the puree, so next time I will add more water into the mix before fermenting.

The apple wine was made from apple juice I bought from WalMart.  It had no additives and was not from concentrate, although I think it was probably pasteurized.  Anyway, it fermented well and produced a wine that is a little slow to clear but will be a joy to drink.  It will not win any contests anywhere, but considering what I had to work with, I'm really pleased.

I just wanted to give you a heads up. I received my order yesterday. I did receive the Crushendo Syrah kit but, instead of the Lodi Old vines Zin that was also ordered, I received the Stags Leap Merlot instead (box #03097050029).

Its no big deal. I never met a bottle of merlot that I didn't like and will order the Old Vines Zin next time around. I just wanted to mention this in case the shipments got mixed up and someone, who was expecting merlot got the zin instead.

I am sipping my first glass of wine as I write this note thanking you for your help, incredible customer service, and products.  You got me started about this time last year on my first batch of wine.  Unlike other newbies, I didn't start with a kit, but jumped straight into wild blackberries.  I guess technically I would have to label this batch as a melomel because I used native wild honey as well (didn't have enough sugar at the time).

wow, you almost described my wine to the T with that. It's definitely high in acid and the flavors don't stand out very much at all. That gives me plenty of hope for its future. I have started the Cab and the Chardonnay and will be adding oak to the cab with a age that for a couple of months in a carboy. Since I did the labeling and capping tonight I'll be putting those
two in the second carboy tomorrow and we'll see how those turn out later on. My fear was that I did something wrong or didn't add some flavor to it that I should have, but it sounds like the flavors will come out later on. I'll keep trying the wine month at a time and tell you how it turns out. Once again you have saved me from giving up with your huge knowledge base. You answered my every doubt with your email. We felt a celebration was in order as the first batch of wine was finally completed.

Do you have on record the kit I purchased last. Chianti. I would like to re order the same kit as I ordered before. I would like to order a Valpolicella Kit. Plus some other small things along with some lables. by the way I gave some Chianti for gifts. All would buy it if it were for sale. I call that a 5 star review. That is why I want the same kit. You are a good business man.  Cudos to your wife also.  I am willing to try
the one you saved.  Once that one goes through, we will try the white
zinfandel (at my cost though).  I appreciate your consideration - just send
whichever you want.  Once we bottle that one, I will contact you and ask you to charge our account for the other one to try.  Your choice.  As I said
